The Generation Equality Lab (GEL)

The Generation Equality Lab (GEL) is inspired by the aspirations of the Generation Equality Forum to catalyse progress and advocate for change.

It brings together academic staff from the UK and beyond, and students to conduct research on and contribute to ongoing global debates about gender-based violence in transnational context; feminist movements and leadership; and the women, peace, and security (WPS) agenda.

The GEL’s core aim is to produce high-quality social science research that conveys new knowledge and informs the work of decision makers, policy and third sector practitioners, and activists alike.
