This study provides an entry point to mapping and connecting the requirements necessary to achieveresilient communities that can withstand the risks of climate change and violent conflicts. It investigates theconditions under which resilience practices are needed, the practices of resilience, and analyses the resiliencemechanisms and policies being implemented in the Horn of Africa, especially in the Mandera Triangle.Importantly, it identifies gaps in existing practices that require actions, which the international communityis equipped to tackle
